What XIRA Is Not

This section matters. XIRA does not provide legal advice. We are not a law firm, and we are not a substitute for legal counsel.

Scan results are informational and educational. They are not legal determinations about what applies to you or what your obligations are.

Regulation summaries on the site are simplified for readability. They may not capture every nuance of the underlying statute or rule.

Compliance documents generated through XIRA workspaces are starting points that must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal counsel before use in any regulatory context. XIRA does not certify that generated documents meet specific regulatory requirements. XIRA does not guarantee that completing a workspace makes your company compliant with any regulation.

Before you make compliance decisions based on scan results, dashboard views, or anything you read here, talk to qualified legal counsel who can review your facts.

Using the Scanner

• The scanner is free to use.
• You do not need to create an account to run a scan.
• Providing your email is optional, but we need it if you want the PDF report delivered to your inbox.
• Scan results come from a pre-classified regulation database. We are not running an AI review of your specific legal situation to produce the match list.
• Results may over-include regulations on purpose. We would rather flag something that might apply than miss something that does.

Using the Dashboard and Workspaces

The dashboard and compliance workspaces are available to authenticated users who have completed company profile setup.

Document generation

XIRA workspaces help you create compliance documents based on templates derived from our analysis of regulatory requirements. These templates reflect our reading of the law. Another lawyer, regulator, or compliance expert might interpret the same requirements differently.

Evidence and proof bundles

XIRA captures compliance activities and can export proof bundles with integrity verification. These bundles document what you did in XIRA. They do not constitute independent verification of compliance.

Risk scores and recommendations

Dashboard risk scores, system recommendations, and coverage assessments are computed from your profile data and our regulation database. They are directional tools to help you prioritize. They are not legal opinions about your exposure or liability.

Finalized documents

Once you finalize a compliance document in XIRA, its content is locked with a cryptographic hash for integrity. This means the document cannot be silently changed after signing. However, regulatory requirements may change after finalization. You are responsible for keeping your compliance documents current.

AI Tool References

XIRA references third-party AI products by name on its website and in its scanner for identification purposes only. These references constitute nominative fair use. XIRA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any AI tool vendor mentioned on the site unless explicitly stated.

Product names, company names, and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners.

Vendor Documentation

XIRA provides tools to request and manage compliance documentation from AI vendors. Documents provided by vendors through XIRA are the responsibility of the originating vendor. XIRA does not verify, validate, or endorse vendor-provided documentation. You should independently verify vendor claims with qualified counsel.

Accuracy and Limitations

• We work to keep the regulation database accurate and current.
• Regulations change. Effective dates move. Laws get amended or repealed. We update the database regularly, but we cannot promise real-time accuracy for every entry.
• Each regulation page links to official source text when available. Please verify important details against primary sources.
• Risk weights, penalty summaries, and obligation descriptions reflect our reading of the law. Another lawyer or regulator might read the same text differently.
• Our regulation database currently tracks 100 regulations across 24 jurisdictions. Not all tracked regulations have full compliance workflows available. The dashboard indicates which regulations have complete workflows and which are monitored only.
• Obligation counts, penalty amounts, and effective dates are derived from our analysis of statutory and regulatory text. These may differ from interpretations by regulators, courts, or other legal professionals.

Intellectual Property

• The XIRA name, logo, and site design are ours.
• The regulation database structure, classification approach, and matching logic are proprietary.
• The underlying regulatory text is public law. It does not belong to us.
• You may share your scan results freely.

Your Content

Anything you enter through the scanner, dashboard, or workspaces (email, company profile, scan selections, workspace fields, evidence links) is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of information you provide.

Limitation of Liability

XIRA gives you information to think with, not legal advice. We are not responsible for compliance choices you or your company make after using the platform.

If the database contains an error or an outdated entry, we are sorry, and we work to fix those issues. Even so, we are not on the hook for losses tied to those mistakes.

The scanner and related features are provided as-is. We do not warrant that results are complete, error free, or fit for any particular purpose.

This limitation applies to the free scanner, the authenticated dashboard, compliance workspaces, generated documents, evidence capture, proof bundle exports, and any other feature of the XIRA platform.

XIRA is not responsible for regulatory enforcement actions, fines, penalties, or legal proceedings that result from a customer's reliance on XIRA-generated documents or guidance without independent legal review.

XIRA does not guarantee that any compliance document generated through the platform will satisfy any specific regulatory requirement or survive regulatory scrutiny.

If you ever had a legal claim against us related to this service, our total liability would be limited to the amount you paid us for that use. For free use today, that amount may be zero dollars.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless XIRA, its founder, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of XIRA-generated documents without independent legal review, your submission of XIRA-generated documents to regulatory authorities, or your reliance on XIRA guidance as a substitute for legal counsel.

Beta Features

Some XIRA features are marked as beta. Beta features may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may contain errors. Use of beta features is at your own risk. The limitation of liability section applies with additional force to beta features.

Changes to These Terms

• We may update these terms as the product grows.
• The effective date under the title at the top shows the latest revision.
• If you keep using the site after we post changes, that means you accept them.

Governing Law

These terms follow the laws of the State of Colorado.
